About Us

Welcome to The Homeschool Evaluator! I’m the founder, Jennifer Horrocks. After graduating from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Music, I went on to get my Instructional II while teaching in a local public school.. It wasn’t long before I had kids of my own….six, in fact, and decided to stay home with my children. Over the years, I have continued my own education by taking different types of graduate classes in order to keep current with teaching and active with my degree. I have grading experience in all levels of education.

I have been through a variety of types of schooling with my children….public, private, homeschool, online, dual enrollment, etc. Those experiences have taught me that not every child fits into every mold when it comes to school and learning. Homeschooling in particular, is a place where parents and children can explore different types of learning styles and pathways that work best.

I have been homeschool evaluating students since early in my career and have been through the evaluation process myself with my own children. It is my desire to help parents and students be able to do a quick and easy, stress free online evaluation….after all, summer is usually right around the corner! :)
